Growing up in a musical household meant an upbringing fully saturated with sounds. I believe that so much of our deepest emotional experiences can be triggered by sounds and music, and it happens to be the language that has always made the most sense to me.
When I majored in film production and minored in classical music performance at San Diego State University, I discovered that the worlds of foley and sound design presented the clearest invitation for me. The language I grew up speaking was now placed in a new context, one that excited me.
Whether it be simple textures in foley, epic impacts in sound design, or heartfelt passages played on the french horn, I feel understood by each medium I endure.
I am excited when presented with the opportunity to collaborate and create something heartfelt, something silly, something new.
